In the spirit of compassion and community empowerment, the Foundation for the Disabled recently embarked on a mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of residents at a local nursing home. Stepping into the facility, it was immediately evident that more than just essentials were needed.

Our team, adorned in Foundation for the Disabled shirts, came together to donate much-needed supplies to the nursing home. We provided diapers, wheelchairs, and walkers to enhance the daily lives of the elderly residents who were facing challenging circumstances.

However, our commitment didn’t stop there.

As we observed the dilapidated conditions of the nursing home, we recognized the urgent need for broader support. The facility was in dire straits, with a leaking roof casting a shadow over the residents’ well-being. It became apparent that a simple paint job could breathe new life into the surroundings, and a ramp would provide much-needed accessibility. We hope to provide these updates in the future with your help.
